Silver Soul Arc is the 67th and final arc in Gintama, following the previous arc. Eccentric samurai Gintoki Sakata helps his friend Shimpachi Shimura save his sister Tae from evil aliens who were trying to press her into a brothel.
In an alternate Edo era, humanity has been overthrown by alien invaders known as “Amanto”. Despite samurai resistance, the Shogun surrendered, signing a peace treaty which bans the wearing of swords in public. Eccentric samurai Gintoki Sakata helps his friend Shimpachi Shimura save his sister Tae from evil aliens who were trying to press her into a brothel, and later begins working with him on a series of odd jobs. When the pair rescue an alien girl, Kagura, from a group of yakuza who wanted to abuse her alien powers, the trio come together to operate the “Yorozuya”, brushing up against the Shinsengumi as they try to ply their trade in alien infested Edo.
