While approaching a ground settlement in my colony system I got a warning about having hardpoints deployed. I thought nothing of it and did what I always do when I have deployed HPs near a station, continue approach and stow them when I get closer and I am ready to start docking.

Just before storing the HPs I get a fine for having deployed hard points. No big deal, fines don't prevent docking. I'll dock, pay the fine and continue on with my business. Except docking was immediately denied and local security started shooting at me.

Really, shooting at the dude bringing you food and water because he had the SC-Suite deployed.

Makes me want to bring them cheap Chinese steel with stress fracture in it.

Look im just trying to warn that Forever war is coming

Maybe I wanted to have a controlled burn of the bubbles sprawl, but there is no profit in burning everything down by shining a spotlight on our galactic location.

All im saying is our colonization is going far faster then predicted. Also I just got a bad feeling....i cant explain it, just call it a premonition.

Why for? No, I'm not planning anything, why should I. Except for saying "told ya!" rather loudly, of course.

We are expanding at an alarming rate , one that cannot be sustained , one that could light a signal flare giving our location away to another civilization in the galaxy, or neighboring ones.
What im trying to say is, Dark forests dont do well with lit torches, keep it down

While I'm not concerned about the dark forest part -- as I think it'd make fun game content -- I do think the spread that's happening is kind of gross.
I really wish the Colonization requirements had been set higher, so as to put it out of reach of people just grabbing a system and not being able to even haul the required commodities in a month by themselves. (Translation: I really wish this had been so high as to require more than one commander or a commander with abundant resources.)

Talk about low-quality construction and urban sprawl. *gags*
